"I don't know why they have any review below a 5 star. My husband and I had an amazing meal (12oz sirloin) and the Hungarian mushroom soup was absolutely mouth tantalizing! Our server, Kennedy was attentive and friendly. You can't ask for much more in a dining experience. I would add that we were there on a Thursday night about 8:30."

"My husband and I were craving a fish fry and just happened upon this place on our way through to Wausau. We were both very pleased to be seated by the window overlooking the lake. The interior is classy, our service was fantastic, the food came fast and delicious! We had calamari and walleye bites appetizers. We both enjoyed the fish fry we were craving."

"We (2 adults) went around 2pm on a busy hot Saturday. We were seated quickly with a view right on the indoor patio. We each ordered water to drink. We had the crab cakes for the appetizer and those were extremely delicious. The price, however, I felt was a bit absurd for them ($17). We both ordered the prime rib sandwich. He got chips on the side and I got sweet potato fries. The fries were a great consistency. But they really lack flavor. Throw some salt on those! I didnt much care for the prime rib. When I told the waitress how I liked my steak done she stated that they don't do that there as the meat was already pretty thin? Idk how that works but when I bit into it it tasted like old reheated hamburger. My friend enjoyed his sandwich on the other hand and was happy to eat the rest of mine too. In total I gave a $10 tip because the host and our watress were wonderful. I spent a total of $73. I will be back but I'll definitely be ordering something else."

"First time to Minocqua and saw this great restaurant on the lake. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess (Heather) and seated in the beautiful porch area facing the lake. Had a very friendly server (Mercedes). We were welcomed with delicious cheese and crackers, enjoyed great drinks and thoroughly enjoyed their Hungarian Mushroom soup (outstanding!) and I had the 'Lure' salad with grilled chicken. It was amazing! Service was spectacular as was the food and atmosphere and views. Highly recommend! Fresh bread with the soup too. "

"What a super fun place to hangout and have dinner. The bartender was so nice and what an amazing person. I wish I could remember her name. The food was very good. Plus we ended up having an amazing view of the water ski show."

"Fredrick was our waiter! He was informative, polite, genuine and delightful. My husband ordered the walleye sandwich and was astounded at the size of the portion. I ordered the lobster tails and those were delicious! The fresh bread served with the meal was a delightful addition! We were delightfully pleased with the fresh zucchini slices as the side for the meals! Well done! This is the second time in 10 years of residency that we had such a good experience! Thanks for a great anniversary experience!"
